Onyeka has worked as an Optometrist for over 15 years. She is currently finishing up her PhD studies on fixational eye movements in people with congenital nystagmus. She enjoys working with children and is passionate about providing care and support to young people with additional needs. Onyeka also provides educational support to her 9-year-old daughter who has acquired nystagmus.
