Meet Marsha, our ambassador

I was born with the visual impairment nystagmus and, while the childhood I experienced was not dissimilar to my siblings and friends, I also needed extra support to access learning at school.

When I was growing up, that support wasn’t easy to come-by and I’m so grateful to my mum for fighting to make sure I had what I needed to thrive.

I want to make sure that everyone with nystagmus has the support they need which is why organisations like Nystagmus Network matter so much – and why I’m proud to be an ambassador. They provide practical resources for those with nystagmus and critical pastoral support to families too.

This nystagmus awareness day, let’s recommit to understanding the condition and enabling everyone with nystagmus to have the right support to flourish in life.
