London Winter walk

Saturday 24 or Sunday 25 January 2026

People taking part in the London Winter Walk.

A great event to wrap up and walk off the Christmas and New Year celebrations; maybe kick start a new fitness regime – and to fundraise for the Nystagmus Network! There are full marathon, half marathon and

10km distance options – and an accessible ‘family fun 5k’ on the Sunday. All routes start and finish at The Oval cricket ground and take in highlights of the Thames, its historic bridges and many of the capital’s landmarks. Sign up as a team or as an individual and families are welcome. There’s rest stops with snacks and drinks, a special medal and hot food back at the finish before you head home.

Bath 50 Ultra Challenge®

From a Windsor racecourse basecamp 2,000 adventurers will head out on looped routes through the great park with fantastic views of the castle, on to Runnymede, along the Thames Path and taking in some wonderful surrounding countryside. Great challenges need great settings and up to 2,000 adventurers will tackle the Isle of Wight’s stunning coastal path over the bank holiday weekend. Take it on at your pace as a walk, jog or run – and fundraise for the Nystagmus Network! It’s along the spectacular southern cliffs, past the Needles and up to historic Cowes. For full island challengers it’s on to Ventnor and back to our welcome basecamp in Chale after an epic journey! People taking part in the Jurassic Coast Challenge.

Spectacular world heritage coastline to take on at your pace as a walk, jog or run – and fundraise for the Nystagmus Network! A start in Corfe Castle, the route heads down to Swanage and along through Lulworth cove, past Durdle Door, with ups and downs to Weymouth halfway. For full 100 km challengers, it’s past Portland Bill, Chesil Beach and on to West Bay – before a finish line in the vibrant town of Bridport. With half, Weymouth marathon, quarter and 10km challenge options also – it’s the event of the year! People at the finish line of the London to Brighton Challenge.

2,000 or so adventurers will take on the capital to coast trails and test their grit and determination. You can join and take it on at your pace as a walk, jog or run – and fundraise for the Nystagmus Network! Richmond-upon-Thames is the start and it’s over the North Downs with wonderful Surrey and Sussex countryside to halfway at Turners Hill. The full 100km route heads over the South Downs before the welcome sight of the Brighton coastline comes into view. The route heads around the town and then north on the Cleveland Way, with a stunning coastline up through Robin Hood Bay and onwards to Whitby and a welcome halfway 50km stop. London Summer Walk

Get your walking shoes on and explore some of the capital’s less known historic areas with a tour of the ‘gateway to London’ along the Thames’s eastern section – and fundraise for the Nystagmus Network. Starting alongside the grandeur of Woolwich Barracks (short walk from Elizabeth Line, DLR and overground) – there’s a marathon looped route, which heads into the heart of the capital – alongside a 25km option taking in Greenwich and a 10km option if you’re after something a bit shorter! Routes steeped in history with iconic sights, a lively warm up, full support all the way, rest stops with snacks and drinks and capped with a BBQ meal, bar and music at the finish, making for a wonderful active end of summer celebration!

Join 2,500 walkers and trek 25 km across the capital with unrivalled views of the skyline and landmarks – and you can fundraise for the Nystagmus Network! From a Putney Bridge start it’s east towards the city, zigzagging over 16 historic bridges, each with a fascinating story – and a mid-point rest stop at The Oval cricket ground for snacks and drinks. 25 km later, beyond the majestic Tower Bridge, it’s a party style finish line celebration and afternoon picnic in Southwark Park. An end of season Ultra Challenge in the ‘garden of England’. The 50km looped route heads anticlockwise on the North Downs way to Blue Bell Hill, following the River Medway to Mote Park at halfway for a picnic. Along the Len Valley walk to the majestic Leeds Castle and the North Downs way back to the showground finish line. London Halloween Walk

People at the start of the Halloween Walk.

Why not risk a hair-raising hike around some of the city’s scary streets and historic haunts and raise money for the Nystagmus Network! Choose your distance, gather your bravest guys and ghouls to make up a team – or go it alone if you dare and meet up with other chilling challengers. You’ll get full support all the way, dress to distress and creepy dungeon keepers at The Oval cricket ground start and finish will meet, greet and shock. Once you escape there’s ghostly looped routes, with zombie rest stops and if you manage to get back in one piece there’s a macabre medal, a glass of the devil’s fizz, some horrific hot food and drink!
