Take part in research on signage

Elliot Judge is a third-year undergraduate student at Nottingham Trent University, studying Graphic Design. For his dissertation, he is investigating how public signage can be better designed to suit the needs of people with Nystagmus and Glaucoma.

He has created an anonymous survey to ask people about their experience with public signage, how signs could be better designed to suit their needs and how these could be implemented to improve the everyday lives of visually impaired people.

The topic has a personal connection for Elliot. He has nystagmus himself and struggles to travel independently. He feels there are many ways in which way-point graphic design could be improved for all types of visual impairments.

Participation is voluntary and anonymous and respondents will need to consent to their responses being used in Elliot’s dissertation.
