Plans and samples to create an accessible kitchen.

Take part in research on kitchen equipment

Demet Ozturk, a final year Industrial Design student at Loughborough University is exploring design solutions that can make a positive impact on the visually impaired community; specifically focusing on the kitchen environment.

He is looking for participants over the age of 18 who are visually impaired and open to taking part in a product testing session. The testing will involve interacting with simple cardboard prototypes—nothing that will put you at risk or require any complex tasks.

What to Expect:

  • Testing a cardboard prototype related to kitchen accessibility.
  • Sharing your thoughts and feedback on the design.
  • No prior experience or specific skills are needed—just your honest input.
