Co-chaired once again this year by Frank Proudlock Associate Professor, Ophthalmology, Department of Neuroscience, Psychology and Behaviour, University of Leicester and Mervyn Thomas, Clinical Associate Professor (Ophthalmology), Honorary Consultant Ophthalmologist, Clinical Lead Ulverscroft Eye Unit University of Leicester, the International Nystagmus Symposium 2026 will bring together researchers, clinicians, academics and students working in the field of nystagmus research.

Abstract submission
Researchers, students and clinicians who are interested in all areas of nystagmus research are invited to submit abstracts for the conference and/or attend this free event. We welcome topics relevant to the advancement of our understanding of nystagmus, including (but not limited to):
•Clinical investigation
•Diagnostics
•Genetics
•Treatment
•Management and support
Abstracts should be 300 words max. and submitted by email to research@nystagmusnet.org no later than 30 June 2026.
