Participants wanted for nystagmus research

This is your opportunity to take part in research by a team at the University of Sheffield to understand how people with nystagmus focus on objects. This study is funded by the Nystagmus Network

We are looking for people aged 16–36 with:
● Infantile (congenital) nystagmus, OR
● Albinism with nystagmus

We also need volunteers without nystagmus for comparison.
● If you wear glasses, an updated glasses prescription
● Capacity to consent

What’s involved?
● A single 1.5-hour visit to the University of Sheffield
● Eye tests to measure your focusing ability (all non-invasive)
● Questionnaires about your experience of the tests
● Breaks provided and you can stop at any time

What’s in it for you?
