LOOK UK have teamed up with London Vision to run a free event for visually impaired young people considering university. Their ‘Get University Ready’ event is designed to empower visually impaired young people with the knowledge they need to make an informed decision about higher education.
 

Participants will learn about:

 
• Disabled Students Allowance (DSA)
• Support services available at university
• Reasonable adjustments 
• Accessibility of course materials.

This festival is run by LOOK UK, a charity that aims to empower young visually impaired (VI) people to thrive.  LOOKfest! is a unique event, entirely created with VI people in mind.

On our beautiful and tranquil festival site, you are free to roam, join in with a host of activities or kick back and relax.

Feel the festival fever with fantastic performances from visually impaired
creatives and get involved in our sport, dance, crafts, creative music sessions
and more!

LOOK runs a free peer to peer mentor service which links VI people together
for inspiration, guidance and support. Come to LOOKfest! and meet the
team! Mentors will be running workshops, hosting fun and games and Q&As.
